Paul Brennan - Biography

Paul is a practicing lawyer.  As well as having his own firm, Paul writes a column for MyBusiness Magazine, Australia’s leading magazine for SME’s and is a regular commentator on Business Essentials a monthly business CD.  A legal cartoonist for the Australian Financial Review. 

He has had a diverse international legal career.  He was trained in a large North American law firm.  Then he went on to be a partner in law firms in London and Sydney.  His experience includes New Scotland Yard and US Multinational Intel Corporation.  He was a General Counsel in the computer industry.  He lived in Asia for ten years, where he was a consultant to a Hong Kong law firm. His travels have given him a lot of colourful anecdotes, an ability to relate to people in his audience and comment on life from a different angle.

His travels have also allowed Paul to develop a vast database of entertaining, informative and humorous case studies and anecdotes, which bring life, colour and understanding.

Author of two books, several eBooks and audio CDs including The Law is an Ass-Make Sure it Doesn't Bite Yours!”and The 10 Greatest Legal Mistakes in Business...and how to avoid them.   He is married with 4 children and lives in Queensland, Australia.
