Should Tenants Hate those Leases to Pieces?

Landlords can be horrible and when you become a landlord you may be horrible too.

A father told me that his son had started a business as a mechanic and took a lease of a workshop and spent $15,000.00 on a fit out. When it came to the end of the lease, the landlord (his cousin), would not allow the son a further lease so that he could sell the business. If you are entering a commercial lease you must speak to a lawyer. In this example, the lease should have contained an option for the son to renew.

Remember your childrens' problems are usually your problems or at least they end up that way.

A New App Uberizing Legal Services!

The new Law app ("LApp") will enable you to summon the lawyer of your choice who will not only provide legal advice at an agreed hourly rate but also take you to where you want to go at no extra charge. This service transforms the much-maligned billable hour into the essential ingredient of fee transparency...
