Injurious falsehood -classy but difficult to prove
Injurious falsehood is making a comeback. Its popularity lapsed after Victorian times, so most lawyers do not remember it.
accuse someone of defamation when you can accuse them of injurious
falsehood which sounds so much better? Well, the reason is that it is
harder to prove but in Australia, for corporations with more than 10
employees it is the only option as they are not allowed to sue for
defamation, as such.

building seeks advice about defamation where perceived highhanded
behaviour by the Chairman of the committee is somehow involved.
Fortunately, it is not the same unit owner.
Any resemblance with Chairman of Body Corporates especially on the Sunshine Coast or Berlin is purely coincidental.
